Cross Community Connect (CCC) is a grassroots, registered (under Tanzania’s NGO Act 2002) not-for-profit organization based in Kigoma, Tanzania. It was co-founded in 2008 following the participation at 2008 Jane Goodall’s Global Youth Summit, Orlando Florida, United States.
It originated out of passion to provide community support through empowerment opportunities for underserved communities; with special emphasis on young women and girls.CCC works from a community-based level approach where all projects are community initiated, supported and driven. The Selected Key Focus and Engagements include HIV and AIDS, Human Rights, WASH, Governance, Climate Change, Livelihoods, Inclusive Education, Women and Girls Empowerment and Humanitarian Support.
